French Day 2024

On Tuesday 9th July, children across the school celebrated French Day as part of our Olympic Cultural Festival Launch. The Olympics are being held in Paris this year. Our lunch menu included French foods for our pupils to try! Children across different year groups had the opportunity to learn at different landmarks in France and create art work linked to famous places and monuments. A specialist dance teacher helped our KS1 learn dances related to France and in KS2 the dance teacher taught range of a international dance movements based on the year group's chosen Olympic countries. Year 5 had a brilliant time learning the Haka and Brazilian Samba dance.
